The drive is mounted using screws and silicone vibration-dampening suspension. The drive’s underside can be seen which is mostly the bottom of the casted tub and the controller PCB of which the USB port is integrated into the PCB (no bridge boards here). Unfortunately, that proved to be more difficult than expected … and eventually led to the drive being taken out of service permanently.
